20+ Years of Publishing History
Kurt Cole Eidsvig's poetry has been included in journals, anthologies, collections, features, series, and installations for over 20 years. An award-winning poet, Kurt's work has earned a University of Montana Teaching Fellowship, a Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant, the Edmund Freeman Award, a South Boston Literary Journal Prize, and numerous finalist and semi-finalist contest awards. A practitioner of the spoken as well as written forms, Kurt has won slam poetry competitions in South Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts as well.

Inviting Everyone to the Conversation
Building on a background of teaching Art History and Writing for UMASS/Boston, The University of Montana, and The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Kurt's literary and art criticism often combines hybrid styles and an approachable, conversational voice. A regular columnist for Examiner.com, ArtsAmerica, and Big Red & Shiny, Kurt's work has earned accolades like a Warhol Foundation/Creative Capital Fellowship. He has notably covered Warhol, Hopper, Monet, and Shephard Fairey along with Roy Lichtenstein and Ai WeiWei.
FICTION, SCREENWRITING & PERFORMANCE
Storytelling as Art
While much of Kurt's writing combines narrative and lyrical styles there remains a core of storytelling and dialogue in all of his forms. His writing has been performed by the Fort Point Theatre Channel and featured in performance installations in Boston like x/o, a collaborative effort with Brendan Murray and Martin Cockroft. Kurt's stories have been included in journals and anthologies as well.
