There is a double-page shot of artist Robert Motherwell in studio as a promotion for the ADAA Art Show and Ameringer McEnery Yohe in this month’s (March 2011) Art in America that is to die for. Can’t find it anywhere on the net, so I am putting up a shot from their installation as found on the Ameringer McEnery Yohe site. Even if the guy was probably a CIA agent, at least according to Arthur Fischel, I love the photo, if not all of his work. Boost Franz Kline and demote Motherwell, a few notches each, but if for nothing else, grab the new AiA and take a look.
